A Cage No Dog Should Ever Know
On the edge of a quiet road, near a pile of garbage bags and discarded furniture, sat a rusted metal cage.
Most people walked past without paying attention.
But inside that cage was a small white dog with a black muzzle.
His frightened eyes followed every passing person.
His body was curled tightly into the corner.
