A Lonely Dog Hiding Inside an Abandoned House
The old abandoned house stood silently at the edge of the construction site, its broken windows and crumbling walls making it look forgotten by the world.
Most workers avoided going near it.
But on that cold afternoon, one construction worker noticed movement inside the empty property.

A massive infected abscess had swollen across the side of his face.
His bloodwork was alarming.
His kidneys were struggling.
His electrolyte levels were dangerously low.
And he could barely use his back legs properly from weakness and exhaustion.
The streets had nearly destroyed him.

He kept climbing gently into the laps of the rescue staff.

He continues receiving antibiotics, fluids, and medical care while rescuers fight to save his life.
