After his owner reportedly passed away, Felix was left without a home. The young dog wandered the streets, following strangers in hopes that someone might stop for him, but no one did.
One day, Felix accidentally fell into an open gutter. Injured and frightened, he cried desperately for help as people continued walking past.
Thankfully, one caring person finally noticed him and contacted Animal Aid Unlimited India. When rescuers arrived, they found Felix lying in the gutter, whimpering in pain.
At first, they couldn’t tell what was causing his suffering. A closer examination revealed several serious wounds on his leg.
Felix was rushed to the animal hospital, where his wounds were cleaned and stitched. He also received treatment for pain and infection, along with the rest he desperately needed.
Over the next two weeks, something beautiful happened. As his body healed, his fear began to disappear too. Surrounded by kindness and affection, the frightened little street dog transformed into a playful, loving pup.
Felix had been crying alone in a gutter, hoping someone would care. All it took was one person stopping to give him the second chance he deserved.
